Now this Maloo has been through a few evolutions ! Daniel came to us seeking more power from his HSV Maloo .
Starting off as a simple exhaust /cold air intake & tune, it has since gone through a few phases . Initially we fitted it up with a cam package and a Harrop FDFI supercharger running 98 fuel.

Still on the std bottom end and  wanting more power , we upped the boost to 13 psi and switched it to E85 . On his first attempt at the drag strip and in manual form struggling to get it off the line it ran a best of 11.24@124MPH.
By this stage Daniel was well and truly hooked on horsepower and he again came in to see us wanting more power.
The outcome was pretty wild , an in house built LS3 -416 Lunati stroker kit topped off with Mast cylinder heads and a Whipple 2.9 Enforcer kit.
With some more time at the drag strip in mind , Daniel decided to ditch the 6 speed manual box and in its place now sits a built T400 automatic transmission.

At the same time , Daniel decided to do a wild full body wrap. Now these type of wraps are commonly seen on lowered V6 Commodore utes , so it was a special experience for Daniel at Calder!
On the first outing and still getting accustomed to the power under his right foot, his first attempt netted him a tidy 10.06@141mph
Not content , 2 days later he took it to Heathcote park where on a mid 30 deg day it reeled off a 9.91@142mph   – full weight , full exhaust.
